the conversation around climate change is relatively the same in regards that it is horrible and will devastate the future generations to come for very long but what is being discussed right now is whether we should spend the amount of money that some are saying we should to save the planet, and to me its a yes without question, we have royally screwed up the planet so for us to be able to reverse the impacts quickly and effectively we are going to have to dump some cash into the problem. you cant have a humongous never before happened amount of catastrophic man made damage and have a cheap get out jail free card as the solution. that doesn’t happen for anything. if you total a car the repairs are going to be more expensive the more messed up your car is or you have to get a whole new car. except in the dilemma we are in currently there is no planet B for us we are in our only planet and we cannot simply just switch to a new one. we have to take action immediately and stop the suffering with what we can. we can not just leave this giant problem the way it is and just hope everything sorts itself out for the benefit of our species. mother nature will always win and will eventually return back to normal but that may take millions fo years and multiple catastrophic events in between before any of that happens. we are already seeing massive fires, floods, and other events happen that are breaking records regularly. hearing that we had the hottest summer ever recorded or that there was another natural disaster breaking a record is no surprise anymore and that is honestly terrifying.
